For three months, Hugo attended a Monday evening drawing course after work. He liked the teacher and the small group. Near the end of the term, the centre announced that the next course would meet on Wednesdays because another group needed Monday's room.
Hugo worked late every Wednesday. He asked his manager about changing his hours, but the shop received its biggest weekly delivery that afternoon. The team needed him there. He could not continue the same course, although he wanted to finish the next level.
The centre offered a Saturday morning group with a different teacher. Hugo read the details and visited during an open session. The class was larger, and he did not know anyone. However, the lesson included the same drawing skills he hoped to learn.
He took a registration form but did not complete it immediately. At his last Monday lesson, he exchanged contact details with two classmates. He would miss that group. The Saturday form stayed on his desk while he checked whether the new time would really suit his week.
