In the staff room at a garden centre, everyone wore the same green work coat. One wet morning, Harry picked up a coat and found that the sleeves were too short. His own coat was missing from the hook beside the door.
He asked three colleagues, but none had noticed anything unusual. Then Bea arrived from the outside plant area. Her hands were almost hidden inside her sleeves. They looked at each other and started laughing. Bea had taken Harry's large coat instead of her small one.
Their names were written inside the coats, but the writing was old and difficult to read. Bea suggested putting coloured tape around the coat hooks. Harry chose yellow, while she chose blue. They also wrote their names clearly on new labels inside the coats.
After lunch, Harry returned from a delivery and went straight to the yellow hook. His coat fitted perfectly. Bea was already outside again, and this time he could see both her hands as she carried a tray of plants.
