Three days later, Alex stood in front of a room full of investors. The pitch deck was polished, the numbers rehearsed, the story perfect.
„We’re building the future of payments,” Alex said.
The investors asked hard questions. Valuation. Market size. Burn rate. Alex answered them all, one by one, without hesitating.
Afterward, one investor stayed behind. She was older, with calm eyes and an expensive watch.
„We’re interested,” she said. „But we want a bigger piece of the company.”
