Marta wanted to join a drawing class after work, but she almost left when she saw the course information. It mentioned weekly exercises. She already spent her evenings caring for her father and preparing for the next working day.
She asked the teacher, Rob, how much homework the class required. Rob explained that the exercises happened during lessons. Students could draw at home if they wanted, but nobody had to bring extra work. Marta read the information again. The wording was not very clear.
Rob thanked her for asking. He changed the sentence before giving the information to other new students. Marta chose a seat near the window and began her first exercise: drawing the same cup from three different sides.
Her first cup looked more like a small bucket, but the next two were better. At the end of the evening, she put her drawings in a folder. She could return next week with no unfinished task waiting at home. That made the class possible for her.
