The Ring
Sara walked back into the house. „I found it,” she said. She gave the ring to her grandmother. The grandmother’s eyes filled with tears.
„Thank you,” she said. „This ring means everything to me.”
Everyone laughed and hugged. That night, Sara looked at the cat. „You are not a thief,” she said. „You are a detective’s best friend.” The cat closed its eyes and slept.
