The Cat
The cat! Sara remembered. During dinner, the cat jumped on the table. Everyone laughed and moved the dishes. The ring must have fallen — and the cat played with it.
Sara went outside. There, in the grass, was the gold ring. The cat was playing with it like a toy. Sara picked it up carefully and smiled.
