Lidia arrived at the training centre with her notebook and a new pen. She expected a lesson about writing emails at work. Instead, she found a group learning how to use a camera. She checked the room number twice before speaking to the teacher.
The teacher looked at Lidia's paper calendar. Her finger was on the correct date, but the page showed next month. The email lesson was four weeks away. Lidia felt disappointed because she had finished work early to come to the centre.
There was still a free place in the camera class. The teacher said she could try the first lesson without paying. Lidia sometimes took photos of products for her shop, so she decided to stay rather than go straight home.
By eight o'clock, she knew how to avoid dark pictures near a window. She also had a clear photo of her notebook. Before leaving, she turned her calendar to the right month and circled the real date of her email lesson.
