Karim asks the seller about them. She cuts one and gives him a piece. It is sweet. He wants three apples for a walk with his friends.
The seller puts three small apples in a paper bag. Karim pays and lifts the bag carefully. Then he notices a hole near the bottom of it.
He shows the seller before he leaves. She gives him another bag. At the park gate, each friend takes one apple. They eat them as they walk beside the river.
