It is a bright morning after a rainy night. Nina walks through the small park. She carries a book and wants to read under a tree.
Her favorite bench is wet. She touches the wood with one finger. There is water under the tree too. Nina does not want to sit on the grass.
On the other side of the path, she sees another bench. Half of it is in the sun. That end is dry, so she sits there.
An older woman arrives with a newspaper. Nina moves her bag from the dry end. There is room for two people. They read quietly while the other half slowly dries.
