Owen wants to wear his grey coat. He puts it on and looks in the mirror. One button is missing. He checks the pockets, but they are empty.
His mother has a small sewing box. Owen opens it on the table. There are white buttons and brown buttons. None of them look like the buttons on his coat.
Then his mother looks inside the coat. A small bag hangs near the label. There is a grey button in the bag. She shows Owen how to sew it on.
Owen works slowly. His mother holds the coat for him. Soon the button is in place. He closes his coat and puts the sewing box away.
