Three weeks pass. Ana knows the city now. She knows the supermarket, the café, and the way to work. She is not afraid anymore.
One evening, Elena calls her. „Do you want to have dinner with me?” Elena asks.
„Yes, I would love to,” Ana says.
They have dinner at a small restaurant. They talk and laugh. „I am happy you are here,” Elena says.
Ana smiles. „Me too,” she says.
She looks out the window. The city lights are beautiful. She is not alone. She has a friend. The new city is home now.
