The First Day
Today is Ana’s first day at work. She is nervous. She puts on a blue shirt. She looks in the mirror. „You can do this,” she says.
She walks to the office. The office is big. A woman named Elena says hello. „Welcome,” Elena says. „This is your desk.”
Ana sits at her desk. There is a computer and some papers. She reads and writes all morning. At noon, she eats lunch with Elena.
„Do you like the city?” Elena asks.
„Yes,” Ana says. „It is big, but nice.”
Elena smiles. „You will like it here,” she says.
