According to the little map, the sculpture park looked easy to explore. Nina could cover the distance between the entrance and the stone horse with one finger. She expected to see all the sculptures before meeting her sister for lunch.
After twenty minutes of walking, she reached the first sculpture. The stone horse was still far away. Nina stopped at an information board and checked the distances. The whole route was much longer than she had imagined from the printed map.
She called her sister and explained the problem. They agreed to meet at the café near the entrance, as planned. Nina chose a shorter path through three sculptures instead of trying to hurry around the whole park in one morning.
Her favourite was a metal tree with tiny bells. She stood under it and listened to the wind. At lunch, she showed her sister the route she had actually walked. The stone horse could wait for another visit, this time with a better idea of the distance.
