The laundry basket is full. Beth tries to lift it, but it is heavy. Her adult son, Leo, is ready to help. He wants to carry everything upstairs.
Beth says no to the full basket. The stairs are narrow. She brings two smaller baskets from the bathroom. They put half the clothes in each small basket.
Now Beth can carry one basket easily. Leo carries the other one. At the top of the stairs, they stop outside the bedrooms and sort the clothes.
Beth puts her clean shirts away. Leo takes his towels to his room. The big basket stays downstairs for dirty clothes. They keep the smaller baskets ready for the next wash.
