Jonas didn’t think. He took his old boat and rowed toward the lighthouse. The waves were huge, but he knew these waters. His grandson followed, frightened but determined.
They reached the lighthouse and found Mrs. Ellis, who lived alone, trapped upstairs. They helped her into the boat.
