The Learning
It took a year. Adam learned to sail, slowly and badly at first. He made mistakes, got stuck, almost gave up. But every time, he looked at the map and kept going.
His wife watched him come home exhausted, salt in his hair. „He’d be proud of you,” she said.
„I hope so,” Adam said.
