Together, they drove to the old house — or where it used to be. A new building stood there now. But there was a small park nearby, with a bench.
They sat there for an hour, and her mother talked about Sofia — her smile, her tiny hands. „You have her eyes,” her mother said.
Anna didn’t know what to say. She just held her mother’s hand.
