The First Run
The first run was a disaster. Tom put on old shoes and ran to the end of the street. After two minutes, he couldn’t breathe. His legs burned. He walked home, embarrassed.
„I’m too old for this,” he thought.
But the next day, he went out again. And the day after. Two minutes became five. Five became ten.
