Nora cleans the kitchen table before breakfast. She dries it with a cloth. Ten minutes later, there is a wet patch on the wood again. Nobody is eating there.
She looks up at the ceiling. It is dry. She looks at the window. It is closed. Then she touches the glass vase in the middle of the table.
The bottom of the vase is wet. Nora lifts it carefully. There is a tiny hole near the bottom. A drop of water comes through it.
She moves the flowers into a large jar. The broken vase goes in an empty box. Nora dries the table again. This time, it stays dry for breakfast.
