The big kitchen table has fresh paint on it. Nobody can use it this morning. Rosa stands in the kitchen with two plates. Her son wants his usual breakfast.
They cannot put hot food on the sofa. The floor is clean, but Rosa wants to sit on a chair. She looks at the small desk in the bedroom.
Her son moves his books from the desk. Rosa brings two chairs and a tray. On the tray are bread, cheese, apples and two glasses of water.
They eat beside the bedroom window. Her son can see the roof next door. He likes this different view. After breakfast, they clean the desk and put the books back.
