The worker calls eighteen, then nineteen. Amira gets her shopping bag ready. When he calls twenty, she asks for a small piece of mild cheese. He cuts it and checks the weight.
Amira pays at the main till and leaves. Outside, she finds a free table in the square. She eats her cheese with a bread roll and watches the busy shop door.
