Marco brings a new kite to a large open field. His friend Ada brings string. The weather is windy, and there are no trees near their place on the grass.
The kite rises, turns quickly and falls. Marco tries again with the same result. Ada looks at the picture on the kite bag. The kite in the picture has a long tail.
Their kite has only a short tail. Marco finds the rest of it inside the bag. They tie the two parts together and check the string before another try.
This time the kite stays in the air. Ada holds the string while Marco steps back to see it. The long red tail moves behind the kite like a ribbon.
