After dinner, Martin fills the sink with warm water. There are plates, glasses and a very large baking dish. He puts the baking dish in first. Nothing else fits beside it.
His daughter wants to help dry the plates. She stands with a towel, but Martin is still cleaning the big dish. There are hard pieces of food on it.
He lifts the dish out and leaves warm water inside it. Then he washes the glasses and plates in the sink. His daughter dries them and puts them away.
By the time they finish, the food in the baking dish is soft. Martin washes it easily. His daughter dries the outside. They leave it on the rack and turn off the kitchen light.
