Sonia's brush has a white stripe. Pearl's brush has a green stripe. Today, Pearl is in a hurry and reaches for the wrong one. Sonia stops her in time.
After breakfast, they find two small cups in the kitchen. Sonia chooses a yellow cup, and Pearl chooses a purple one. Each sister puts her own brush in her cup.
The cups fit side by side on the bathroom shelf. That evening, Pearl reaches for her brush without a question. Sonia still checks the stripe, just to be sure.
