Dan puts clean clothes on his bed. He has six shirts, two towels and many socks. He wants to put everything away before lunch.
He makes pairs with the socks. Two black socks go together. Two green socks go together. But one red sock has no partner. Dan looks under the bed and behind the door.
His sister brings a clean pillowcase into the room. It feels strange. There is something small inside it. She puts her hand inside and takes out the other red sock.
Dan laughs and puts the red pair in his drawer. His sister puts the pillowcase on a pillow. Now the bed is ready, and the floor is clear.
