At the last camp, Marco met a young climber going the same way. Her name was Ada, and she climbed with a joy Marco had lost.
„Why do you climb?” she asked him.
Marco opened his mouth to say something about achievement, about summits, about proving himself. Instead, he said: „I don’t know anymore.”
Ada smiled. „That’s a good place to start,” she said.
