I take a new sketchbook to the park. I want to draw, but the empty page looks very white. There are so many things around me. Where can I start?
A tree has hundreds of leaves. The café has many windows. Both look difficult. Then I see a red cup on a table beside an empty chair.
I draw two straight lines and a round top. My cup looks a little wide. I draw its handle next. Now it looks like a real cup.
The café worker comes to collect it. I show her my drawing before she takes it away. She likes the big handle. I write the date under my first picture.
