The park drawing club uses chalk on a special paved area. Today they make a large street picture. Imogen draws a little shop, a tree and a wide blue river.
Another member draws a road toward her shop. Imogen adds a bridge over the river. Now the picture has two parts, but they connect. People can follow the road with their eyes.
A man on the real park path sees their chalk arrow. He asks if it points to a real shop. Imogen laughs and explains that it is only part of the picture.
The group writes 'Our Town Picture' above the chalk street. Now the man understands. He stands back to look at the whole drawing. Imogen adds a person beside her little shop.
