On Saturday, a guitar player sits beside the big market clock. Peter often hears him during his shopping. Today the musician plays a song that Peter knows very well.

Peter stops with his vegetable bag at his feet. He sings the first few words quietly. The musician hears him and smiles. He asks Peter to sing the next part.

Peter feels shy because several shoppers are watching. He looks at the guitar instead of their faces. He sings one short verse. His voice is quiet, but the words are clear.

The musician finishes the song, and two shoppers clap. Peter puts a coin in the open guitar case. Then he picks up his bag. His potatoes are still waiting for him.
