Mila wants to visit the park across the river. The bridge is far away, but a small ferry leaves from the steps nearby. She walks down and checks the sign.
The ferry carries people and bicycles. Mila has no bicycle, so she buys a simple passenger ticket. A worker opens a small gate, and she walks onto the boat.
There are seats inside, but Mila chooses one outside. The wind is cool on the water. She closes her jacket and watches the buildings on both sides of the river.
The ride is short. Soon the worker opens the gate again. Mila steps onto the other bank and sees the park entrance ahead. For her return, she checks the last ferry time.
