She chooses the side street. Tall trees cover the pavement with shade. Near the park, she stops at a drinking water tap and fills her bottle. Two cyclists stop there too.
Zoe reaches the library with time to choose a book. She saves the cooler route on her phone. The main street is still shorter, but today she likes the trees more.
