On a warm afternoon, Vera fills a red jug with water. She wants to put it in the fridge before dinner. The jug is tall, and the shelves are close together.
Vera moves a bowl of salad, but the jug still does not fit. She does not want to change all the shelves. Dinner is soon, and she has other things to do.
She takes two short bottles from the cupboard. After washing them, she pours the water into them. Both bottles fit easily on the bottom shelf beside the salad bowl.
At dinner, Vera pours the cold water back into the red jug. It looks nice on the table. The fridge shelves can stay where they are.
