Elena tried to give the book back. „No,” the old man said. „She would have wanted you to keep it. But promise me one thing.”
„Anything,” Elena said.
„When you finish it,” he said, „write your own note, and pass it on.”
Elena promised. That night, she wrote a small note and tucked it inside the book. Some stories, she thought, are meant to keep travelling.
